As part of the Media Connect initiative, the EU Neighbours South programme 🇪🇺 and the Maharat Foundation are organising a regional training programme for constructive journalism.
Selection criteria:
- Be a journalism student
- Be no more than 23 years old
- Be a national of Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine or Tunisia and a resident of that country.
- Be in a Master’s degree programme or the final year of a Bachelor’s programme
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in learning journalistic skills
IMPORTANT:
– The training will run from June to November 2024.
– The programme consists of 4 sessions (3 online and 1 in-person).
– Participants commit to attending all 4 sessions and must sign a declaration of commitment.
– A certificate of attendance will be issued at the end of the training.
– The working languages are Arabic and English.
